At Meet Over Drinks we know the frustration, anxiety and distress you have over dating - because we’ve been there. In fact, that’s why we founded Meet Over Drinks. Our personal experiences with bars, blind dates, dating services and bad luck convinced us that there had to be a better way.
Our founders both moved to New York City and discovered, first-hand, how difficult it can be to meet other normal, well-educated professionals. At first, they went out on dates set up by friends and tried to meet women at bars. Bad idea. Then, they tried online dating and wasted hours searching through the ads, talking on the phone and then finally going out with women who, invariably, too many didn’t look like their photo or live up to their online profiles. Finally, they tried professional matchmaking services only to find a complete lack of quality and service. When all else failed, they founded Meet Over Drinks - and changed the dating world from the ground up.
